Brett Silvers founded WorldBusiness Capital in 2003. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of First International Bank for 13 years, during which time he led the bank’s expansion, IPO, and sale to United Parcel Service. Mr. Silvers currently serves as a U.S. Department of Commerce appointee to the agency’s Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Small and Minority Business. He has also served on the Commerce Department Trade Finance Advisory Council and U.S.-India CEO Forum; Federal Reserve Bank of Boston New England Advisory Council; U.S. Export-Import Bank Advisory Committee; Private Export Funding Corporation Board of Directors; and University of Hartford Board of Regents. Mr. Silvers received his B.A. in Polical Science from Yale University, and M.A. in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School, Tufts University.
