WBC makes loans to finance projects in emerging markets using the programs of OPIC.  In order to qualify for this financing, a project must have significant U.S. participation, must be financially sound, and must contribute to the social and economic development of the host country.

Our Project Finance program offers these features:

Loans up to $10 million.

Repayment terms up to 15 years, with up to 2 years of interest only. Principal and interest are paid quarterly.

Flexible use of loan proceeds for:

Collateral is generally limited to project assets.

U.S. participation through equity ownership or a long-term contract.

No ownership dilution.

Attractive cost of financing.
